Weekend in NOLA- Day 1

We live in such a fun city.
We love to go downtown and be a tourist for the weekend.
Satch and I do it often.
This was the first time that we also brought along the kids.
Gotta love a vacation that you get to your destination in 20 minutes.
Golden!

We started our morning off with one of our favorite spots.
The Children's Museum.

Talk about getting into a book!

Griff building train tracks
Service with a smile in the cafe.
Just one of the 1,000,001 reasons why I love this man.
He is in costume with his boys.
After the Children's museum and a quick lunch we headed over to the hotel.
The boys thought that was hotel living was pretty cool!
Hello city...
Pure joy.
Tech kid
Roman talking to the people on the street.
"Ello people what you doin down dare?"
Such a sweet moment.
Baby Co-Co was with us too.
Chillin' in the stroller with a leg up.
Boys looking at the Mississippi River.
Checking out the really tall buildings.
Bliss...
Nothing like 90+ degree weather
and carrying 70+ lbs of kid!
Reasons 1,000,002 why I love this man...
We also hit the Insectarium for a quick visit.
They had a ball!

I love this city.  Nothing like walking down the
street and happening upon a 1 float parade partying down the street.
Reason 1,000,003 why I love this man.
He is a native of Pennsylvania, but such a New Orleanian at heart.
He heard the parade, picked up our kids and ran like it was nobody's business
to catch some beads.
NOLA proud to call it home...
