Baby Bear is a really hard worker. He not only loves to work he loves to see other people ("guys") working too. It should be of no surprise that he loves Home Depot. A store full of working guys with BBQ pits and a fake kitchen!
He goes nuts when we are in the car and we pass up construction zones. He squeals with delight "da guys are wurkin" and will not stop until we acknowledge that indeed the guys are working. He also adores garbage trucks. He waits for the garbage truck to pass our house twice a week. He has even been known to wait in the driveway with Big Poppa for 30 minutes anticipating their arrival. Big time excitement in the eyes of a 2 year old. Little does he know that I have spoken to a person with the company and they will actually stop at our house to let him sit in the truck for a minute!
Baby Bear's first love is cooking. He stirs a pot like it is nobody's business and bangs the spoon on the side with a fierce look of intensity on his face. He loves to walk into the kitchen and say, "pots are cookin." Play pots are not good enough for this tiny chef. He pulls out all of my real cook ware AND utensils. When it is time to fire up a meal I have to go into the playroom and ask Baby Bear to borrow one of my pots. He will then stand there and give me the stank eye while I prepare the meal. He is not satisfied until my pot is washed and back in his hot little hands in his kitchen.
Baby Bear is also a serious lawn care guy. He loves to cut the grass. He will honestly walk along side his Daddy and cut the entire yard with him. He turns his hat backwards, takes off his shirt and works up a sweat in the yard. After they finish the lawn they hose of their lawn mowers and park them side by side in the garage. Too cute...
