Happy birthday Emma

Yesterday we headed out to the Monkey Room for Emma's 3rd birthday party.
My big boys were excited because:
(1) They both claim Emma as their girl
(2) They love the Monkey Room.

Emma's Momma always goes WAY out on her girl's birthday.
This year she did not disappoint.
The decorations and birthday girl were precious.

Emma's momma, who also goes by Cristina, :) asked for me to bring my camera.
Who....
Me?
Why sure!
I'd love to...

I did a good job before hand of getting her awesome set up.
I even managed to get cute family pics.
I did however fail on the HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHOT!
I am really upset with myself.
I was not positioned well when the kids poured in.

Here were my options:
(1) Take out a few kid in order to "capture the moment" and look like a complete maniac
(2) Miss the moment.

I chose option 2 and I'm still sweating it.

So sorry Cristina to let you down...
:(

Now on a happier note~
bright and pretty pictures!

Great cake
Cake balls
Centerpieces
Family of "4"

So cute.

Emma some of her biggest fans.
Daniel and Alex
DJ Lance
The cake with the candles lit.
Wait for it.
Wait for it.
Missed it.
Bad position and I had a tall kid in front of it.
Sniff.
Back to happy thoughts.
Roman and buddy Bash.
These 2 are adorable.
They just look at each other and giggle.

Party time...

What's up?
We have been busy with life
and my energy level is a little lower than normal.

Lately pregnancy survival has taken the front seat
while blogging is in the back seat.

We have gone to a few parties over the past few weekends.
Here are a few of my favorite party pics!

Griff and some of his favorite girls.
Roman and his new friend.
She took care of him during the party.
Griff looking on as the birthday girl blew out her candles.
He had a firm gentle reminder that the birthday boy/girl blows out the candles.
It sure is tough being 3...
My favorite boys enjoying the party.

Here are a few pictures from party #2.
I didn't have as much fun with the camera because I was flying solo with the boys
while Daddy was at school.

Do you see this great BIG giant slide?
Okay, now do you see my 20 month old baby
climbing the stairs being spotted by his big brother?
Not sure if this was a great idea, but we gave it a go!
Now do you see my 20 month old going down the slide
while his 3.5 year old brother is taking the stairs down?
Momma didn't raise a fool!

Baby Bear was so proud of himself.
Such a big boy.
Time for cake and Happy birthday!

Hey Lady, can you get me some pizza?

Now everyone knows that a love a good party.
I also love the heart and effort that a mother puts into her child's special day.
Here are a few of my favorite details from both of the parties.

Tie dyed swirl cookies
Adorable owl cupcakes
Yummy AND pretty cake.
Arrrr..... birthday cake
Awesome cupcakes
Super cool goodie bags

Beautiful day in the neighborhood.

Today the weather is
GORGEOUS!
The sun is shining
the wind is whipping,
and the first chill of the season has set in.

We went to a birthday party in the neighborhood.

The perfect day to spend outside with my boys!

Oh how I love these 3.
Baby Bear is now The Dude.
sniff.sniff.

Who are you calling a baby?
I'm The Dude.

Hanging with the big kids.
Now for the best part of the party.

Yummy squishy cupcake face!

Carnival 1st birthday party

Yesterday we went to a really fun carnival themed 1st birthday party for our cousin, Analeyse.  The party was adorable and lots of fun for the kids.  There were lots of fun games to play and we left weighed down with prizes that the boys won.
Welcome to the carnival!
First up, a ride on the carousel.
Griff spent the majority of the day at the skee ball game.
Look at his position.
His comment, "this game is easy."
Baby Bear clowning around.
Serious partying going on.
$1,000,000 smile.
Griff helping the "cus-toe-mers."
the cake
Baby Bear sorting his loot.
They both loved fishing for ducks.
Hanging with MiMi.
Finally the sucker game is left unattended.  Time to load up on SUCKERS!
Snack time with Pop.
Thanks Analeyse for such a fun day!
