So you say that you are naturally a brunette...

This morning we woke up to "Monday." It was very typical of what you would think of when you consider the dreaded Monday morning rig-a-marole. We woke up early and it was cold and rainy. Griff started whining as soon as his feet hit the floor and Roman woke up with a case of the yuckies. Isn't it funny that the littliest person in the house was the last person to fall prey to the cold/cough?

Somehow we got everyone dressed and out of the door. Nothing like putting your best foot forward when all you want to do crawl back into bed! Satch left just before me with Griffin. I walked out about 5 minutes later with the little guy. I was very caught up in though. I was thinking about Roman not feeling well and trying to put together my "plan B" just in case he didn't make it the day with the sitter.

I loaded up the car and hit the road. I pulled out of our section of the subdivision and sped up as I got onto the main boulevard. All of a sudden I heard a strange thud and peered into the rear view mirror. I was taken back for a second. Ummmmm, why did it look like my "Roach" and all my belongings littering the street? (Roach- my "Coach" bag that was purchased on the streets of NYC last December.) I panicked for a hot second and made double sure that I remembered to put Roman in the car! Apparently I forgot my bag on the roof of the car. Awesome...

I was in Kenton's car and whipped that bird around real quick like. I pulled diagonally in the middle of the road to protect my belongings. I may have left my bag on the roof, but didn't want anyone to roll over a random lipstick, ink pen, or bottle of anti-bacterial wash. You would know that the entire neighborhood all decided to leave for work at the same time today. I was running through the street picking up the contents of my purse in heels as my neighbors sat in a line of traffic smirking. I played it real cool and just smiled and waved as I got back into my car with my belongings. Needless to say I do not believe that anyone in their right mind who witness my spectacle this morning will ask for me to baby sit their children, pets, or house for a very long time...
