15 months

Today our sweet baby is 15 months old. In honor of 15 months of life I will start out with 15 things that I love so much about you:

1. That you are our first born. There will be more, but only one 1st.

2. The way that you eased us into parenthood. You are the best baby.

3. The way that you giggle and it comes all the way from your toes.

4. The way that you may not call my name often, however when you are in a pickle Ma-ma is on the top of your list.

5. The fact that you LOVE to eat and are open to exploring new foods.

6. Every time you find a phone you put it to the back of your head and yell in an outside voice da-dee! You only feel the need to call Da-dee on the phone.

7. You are a good sleeper AND napper.

8. The way that you never tire of pat-a-cake and peek-a-boo.

9. Your adventurous and independent nature. (can you say climb and dig 24/7?!?)

10. You love a good party.

11. The way that you cuddle and want your ma-ma when you are not feeling well.

12. Your sense of style. At 15 months old you already have an opinion on which shoes are your favorites. (that would be an ugly pair of sandals AND a pair of Air Jordans- clearly your taste differs from Mommys. ;) )

13. Your Da-dee is your hero. You never tire of his silly antics.

14. The way that you back up your tiny hiney to sit on my lap. You melt me.

15. The fact that God specifically put you in our lives. God is a pretty smart guy because you are the perfect fit for our little family of 3.

This month Griffin is really coming into his cute little personality. He decided to start walking on May 23 which is my birthday. Happy birthday to me! He woke up that morning with a burning desire to run. It is so funny because once he started walking he also developed a new little attitude. I guess it is his new sense of independence. He is getting better at walking ever day. We went to a birthday party last weekend and he was walking more than ever. He was honestly showing off all of his skills to the other kids. You are such a joy and a blessing to us. We love you more and more with each new day.
