Fairytale of a day at Storyland

Our family time is somewhat limited due to life and school every other Saturday.
I really miss going out all day on the weekends just exploring the city.
Over the years we have had lots of fun times
at local parks, street festivals, the Children's Museum, and the zoo.

Yesterday Satch had a free day and we took advantage of a birthday party invitation to
Storyland at City Park.

We have had a couple of really rough days at City Park.
Lots to do and lots of people can often times be a recipe for overstimulation for little people.

I am so happy to say that yesterday we had a GREAT day.

We enjoyed spending time with friends at the party.
We enjoyed a fun day outside with our family.
We enjoyed Storyland and also some of the rides at the amusement park.

We had a great day!

Here are my boys on the pirate ship when we arrived.
Arrrrrr......

Little firefighters ready for action!

If your house were on fire how would you feel if these 3 showed up to rescue you?!?

Birthday party time.
Happy birthday Charles and Owen!
Thanks for including us on your special day.

After singing "happy birthday" we headed over to the amusement park for a few rides.
Griff just jumped in line for this crazy looking boat ride.
When we walked up it was stationary so we did not know what the boat actually did.
My guy bravely got onto the ride and held on tight.

Woah.... this is what the boat did!

And this guy right here in the orange shirt LOVED every second of it!

The sweetest almost 4 year old that I know...

2 boys waiting on a train...

 All aboard!
Here are my boys loaded and ready for the train ride.

So look at these faces.
Do you think that they slightly liked it?!?

Next we headed over to the carousel.
Satch was not sure if he would be able to handle both boys on the moving carousel.
Sorry, but Roman would not be left behind.
They both did great and enjoyed the ride.

I love this picture.
I think it looks rather dreamy...

Thanks guys for such a special day!
